THE HEART OF HUMANITY
The Heart of Humanity is a powerful novel set against the turbulent backdrop of the 1980s, centering on social awakening, resistance, and an impossible love. The work presents glimpses into the challenging life of Reşat, an idealistic activist who, in his childhood, resisted his violent father, and in his youth, confronted mafia bosses and a state that had lost its paternal role.
According to Reşat's philosophy, the earliest ages of humanity were a paradise without class, borders, or war; however, ambitions and "saviors" have turned the world into hell. In Türkiye's 1980s, the saviors were the military junta. Hiding behind the National Intelligence Organization building as a bagel vendor's apprentice to escape execution, and carrying a razor instead of a gun for his safety, Reşat embarks on a breathtaking adventure filled with events such as informants' denunciations, baseless ransom headlines in the national press, and a surprising roommate situation with the leader of the opposing political group.
Upon returning home and finding everything changed, Reşat embarks on a struggle to transform this world back into paradise, challenging the system that has turned it into hell. This work, a gift from the author to those who dream of paradise on earth, serves as a guide that will contribute to the cause of humanity as it reaches more people.
